Sky Fires & Mantras

Created in response to climate change, this series of encaustic monotypes explores environmental fragility, endurance, and renewal. Layers of molten wax and pigment create luminous surfaces that suggest geological movement, fire, atmosphere, and transformation.

 

Rising like radiant signposts from earth to sky, the vertical works balance destruction with hope. They are powerful individually or installed together, where related colors and forms create an expanding visual dialogue.
