Wonders Without Number
Artisanal Multimedia Images
Torahic themes rendered in the visual language of Artisans
of Stained Glass, Fused Glass, Mosaics, Tapestries, Cloisonne, and Batik
This series emerged during the pandemic, when daily views of the trees and garden outside my
studio became a sustaining source of beauty. Transformed through digital processes, I developed
images of my own traditional paintings, shifting them from observation to abstraction, with an
artisan sensibility, in homage to the thousands of makers throughout history who worked with
stained glass, fused glass, mosaics, tapestries, cloisonne and batik and so much more.
The heightened palette amplifies their energy, linking organic forms to enduring archetypes such as the
Burning Bush and the Garden of Eden. For collectors and curators, these works represent a dialogue
between tradition and innovation, rooted in nature yet resonant with timeless symbols of
resilience and renewal.
