Eden

Eden is a new series of paintings inspired by Genesis. Earthly elements emerge and dissolve, suggesting places not fully defined but seeking some kind of coalescence. I try and try to imagine such power and in my search I explore color and motion looking for a place to land. Rich color fields built through layers of glass-like translucency and opacity create atmosphere and depth, while intuitive, gestural techniques allow movement and abstraction to unfold naturally across the surface. The paintings are full of freshness, energy, and beautiful color, inspired by my temple's sanctuary with it's magnificent, gleaming mosaic walls. These paintings exist as still moments within a

larger, unfolding story. May potential become inspiration and may vision gently evoke conceptions of change.
